Again, this is where the splendid resource of using volunteers from the community to act as mentors in the schools can fill this role and aid to make our next generation of children better prepared as citizens of Australia. It is the belief of the MVP that every kid has the right to a good education and every member of our community has a role to play in the schools and ensuring that young people are provided with the most important service that our overburdened educational system cannot eternal deliver oneonone interaction with an adult. The MVP is harnessing this altruistic endeavor on the part of mentors, and by training and succeeding recognition, is not only providing a professional conduit for former Australians to participate in their community but is enabling volunteers of all ages to become prized community members.
